My latest work involves a direct and intimate relationship with the clay, and for the first time in my ceramic career explores both the vessel and glaze.
Drawing inspiration from the contrasting influences of contemporary architecture and natural landscape, my work is shaped by a deep respect of the fundamental principles of Japanese aesthetics; hopefully bold and visually rich, whilst simultaneously conveying feelings of simplicity, solitude and quietness.
My work is featured in numerous international exhibitions, collections and publications.
